Frisbee

HKU Ultimate Frisbee Course

This Ultimate Frisbee Course is designed for beginners of ultimate frisbee who are willing to learn basic skills to become players in recreational games.

Basic techniques for throwing, catching skills, cutting, vertical stacking, horizontal stacking and game rules of ultimate frisbee will be conducted throughout the 6 sessions of classes. Participants will also experience various fundamental gameplays and gain the knowledge of game rules.

Fencing-Foil beginner

Fencing is a sport that combines mind, skill and strength. It always appears as a mysterious sport. Through practice of blade work and footwork, participants can enhance their strength and agility. The beginner course provides a glimpse of the art of fencing through introduction of different swords, rules, attack and defense skills through practices and duels. Do come to enjoy the fun of fencing through practice and real competition.

Hockey

This course is designed to introduce beginners to the sport and get a basic knowledge of the rules and play, while also providing extra training for the more experienced players. Experienced players will also benefit from receiving more advanced training from our experienced coach in all areas of the sport.

Our certified coach from Hong Kong Hockey Association will help you improve in skill areas that include:
  • Basic rules of Hockey
  • Grip on stick
  • Ball carrying
  • Dribbling
  • Passing (static): Push, Slap & Hit
  • Passing (on the move): Push, Slap & Hit
  • Receiving

Pickleball

This course provides an introduction to the popular sport of pickleball, a fun and fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Students will learn the basic rules of pickleball, including scoring, serving, and gameplay strategies. Emphasis will be placed on developing fundamental skills such as forehand and backhand shots, volleys, and court positioning. Through a combination of instruction, drills, and practice games, participants will improve their pickleball techniques and understanding of the game. This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate players looking to enhance their skills and enjoyment of pickleball.
