Sport Climbing
Sport Climbing (Level 1)
The course content encompasses fundamental climbing techniques and the utilization of artificial climbing holds. Additionally, participants will be introduced to belaying methods and safety measures. During the course, individuals will gain knowledge and skills in using climbing equipment such as climbing rope, harness, belaying device, and karabiners.

- Participants have to present their valid HKU Student/Staff/HKID for identification and check-in attendance on site.
- Participants should wear sportswear and sports shoes
- Sports Climbing equipment will be provided.
- Make-up session will be arranged according to the schedule whenever is necessary.

Sport Climbing (Level 2)
This course is eligible for the participants whom have entirely completed our Sports Climbing (Level 1); in which, the two session aims to delves the climbing techniques and strengthen their skills with gaining a comprehensive understanding of climbing gear such as ropes, harnesses, belaying devices and carabiners and ensuring a well-rounded climbing proficiency.
Pre-requisites: HKU Adventure-Programme Sports Climbing (Level 1) Competency Record within 12 months is preferred or holding equivalent. Qualification/certificate.
